This is certainly a rare crossover item - an early Halloween ornament meant for a Christmas tree. Bidding has been strong on the listing. As I write this, it has been bid up to $305 with over three days remaining. I put out a 7.5’ black Halloween tree each year. (My newest one was purchased from Vickerman.) This would look great on it, so maybe I’ll be a bidder!

RARE Antique German Halloween Veggie Man Composition Ornament Or Toy ca 1910
This is one you don't see often. These stringed toys or ornaments were produced early on in Germany, probably closer to 1920 than 1910, and are desirable, evidenced by the very fair price this item fetched. I've seen similarly constructed witch and devil ornaments or toys, but have an affinity for these Veggie creatures.
