This is not an item from the 1920s. It was made by Stamm House sometime during or after the early 1990s. Stamm House did exceptional work. I am proud to have a number of their items in my folk art collection.

Alas for the seller, this is not what they claim it to be. This is a Stamm House creation, wonderful in its own right, but made in or after the mid-1990s, possessing decorative value only.

Although well-crafted, this is not a vintage item. It was made by Stamm House sometime within the last few years and has no vintage value. (Notice the mark on the bottom of the base. Without that mark, other clues to its recent manufacture are the smoothness of the finish, the soft colors and the granular nature of the base.)
