It is a rush to see such a high quality item on a forum that has fallen so far since its heyday. This confection was made sometime between 1910-1914. The measurements the seller has provided would indicate this is larger than others I’ve seen. The condition is nice, but nowhere near perfect. Given what the seller is asking, I would have hoped the condition would have been far better.

Rare Die Cut-pre 1920's marked made in Saxony Black Cat- 4.5" Vintage Halloween
This seller offered two unusual small diecuts that were both marked Made in Saxony. (Saxony once had a monarchy but adopted a constitution under the Weimar Republic from 1919-1933, when these were produced.) Saxony Halloween items are typically visually arresting. They also use more gray than other diecuts produced at the time. Evidenced by the three complete sets in the collection shown at the top of page 170, I assume these were sold in sets of four in glassine envelopes. Prior to these listings, I had not seen either design before.
Vintage Saxony Halloween Die Cut Pumpkin Head Tuxedo Running Jack-O-Lantern
There were at least three diecut designs released in sets of four in glassine envelopes, produced by manufacturers in Saxony. You can see them at the top of page 170. This price of $205.50 for a single diecut is folly. If someone with deep pockets wants the trio of complete sets shown in the book, they can be yours for the bubblicious price of $3000, shipping not included.
3 Vintage German, Saxony Halloween Invitations, Witches, Jack-O-Lanterns w/Pipe
These cards, marked made in Saxony, were manufactured sometime right before 1920. Although two designs are being offered, a complete set is comprised of four designs, all shown on page 286. The other two designs show a perched owl and a snarling black cat face.
