I love these imaginatively designed centerpieces that Beistle made in the mid-1950s. (They made two versions.) Although the example being auctioned isn't in perfect condition, it surely is in better shape than the 2-3 that have sold within the last 18 months. If you collect rare paper, this belongs in your collection.

Vintage Halloween Heavy Cardboard Die Cut - Face of a SCARED BLACK CAT
This is merely a remnant from a Beistle 3-D cat stand-up.
DENNISON HALLOWEEN NOVELTY TABLE CENTERPIECE ORIGINAL BOX
Occasionally, even a firm with an excellent creative track record like Dennison takes a crap. The result is this yawn-inducing amalgamation of dreck they put it in a decorated box - the best thing of the whole set - and sprung on an unimpressed public. Dennison issued this set for only a single season, along with a variant featuring Disney characters. They typically don't bring much for obvious visual reasons. (...And this brought a mere $80.)
German Porcelain Tea Pot from Children's Tea Set- 1920s
I have personally examined this great item and concur that the repair to the lid was professionally done. This tea pot has excellent color and the proper mark. I know the seller well. She has long been on the list of sellers I endorse. I applaud the starting price, well below market for the item and unsaddled with any reserve.
Vintage German Halloween Tri-fold Diecut Fireplace Fire Screen Witches, Owls
This is a great, vintage item in better-than-usual condition. The B-I-N price is too aggressive, though. I would guide this valuation to between $2,000-2,300.
Vintage RARE Halloween Haunted House Plastic Blow Mold Decoration
This is arguably the coolest of the vintage blowmold light-ups manufactured. I love the sharp angles and skewed perspective, wholly apropos of the mood to be conveyed when using this. I am glad to see it brought a relatively strong price of $62.
Beistle Witches Cauldron Halloween Centerpiece As Is for Parts
This is a great deal!
VERY FINE Vintage BEISTLE Halloween WITCH MYSTERY ANSWER GAME
I think this result is instructive in illuminating just how strong the secondary market is for truly vintage Beistle items. Even in its relatively poor condition, this game still managed to fetch a price of $228.49. Pretty amazing!
Antique 20s Kirchhof Halloween Party Tin Litho Black Cat Witch Rattle
I think this noisemaker employs some of the best imagery Kirchhof ever used. This noisemaker must have been popular since it was made for decades and in at least three different color variations. Contrary to this fine seller's assertion, this particular example was made in the 1950s. What is the immediate tip-off? It is marked "Life of the Party," a tag-line Kirchhof only used then.
LARGE German Pumpkin Boy Die Cut
This is one of (I believe) four of a fiendishly difficult set to complete. I've been looking to complete my set for two decades! I have this one already plus the saxophone player. It'll be fun to see what this example brings.
vintage halloween pressed diecut embossed pumkin heads, owl and cat
What a great assortment of harder-to-find German diecuts! The cat and the clown are less common than the owl and the witch. All look to be in super shape. The seller probably doesn't know that to maximize value these should have been sold separately. This may be a rare opportunity to get a deal.
HALLOWEEN VINTAGE SKELETON EMBOSSED DIE CUT DECORATION
This appears to be a remnant.
HALLOWEEN METAL RED DEVIL FACE LICENSE PLATE ATTACHMENT
I've seen these nicely designed license plate attachments only a handful of times over the years. I like the two-toned paint and the yellow eyes on this particular item.
Germany Halloween Tea Set JOL Pumpkin Teapot Cups Saucers Cream Sugar
These are all great items (especially the small cups and saucers) and appropriately marked, but the opening price is already a fully valued number. I think the seller is making an error starting so high as that price will engender few bids. Why not start the lot at $500 and let the vagaries of the auction setting determine the price?
5 Paper Mache Pulp Pumpkin Jack O Lantern Nut Cups with Liners
Again, great items but the starting price is much too high.
