Lot 92 1922 Beistle Party Set Envelope
This envelope once contained what I consider to be a rare double set of material needed for a party of eight people. The envelope, from 1922, would have once held sixty pieces. A slightly more common variant of the envelope has the same imagery but different verbiage and would have held thirty pieces. This lot consists of the envelope only. It measures ~13.25” high by ~11.25” across. (It was the very next year when Beistle’s fairy motif would become ascendent and truly popular. So popular that to goose sales Beistle issued their 1923 party sets in envelopes, booklets and boxes.) There is nibbling at the lower right corner. The extant rear flap has a closed tear. Prior to its acquisition, I had not seen this variant before, hence the RSIN.
