Lot 66                1920s Whitney Enveloped Set of Twelve Cat Seals
This complete set of seals, each showing a black cat against a harvest moon, was produced by Whitney during the 1920s. As stated directly on the fancifully decorated glassine envelope, these were sold with a stock number of 712. The envelope measures ~3.75” high by ~4.75” across. Each seal measures ~3” high by ~2” across. One of the seals has some surface paper loss to one side.
