Lot 56 1940s Beistle Witch Face Diecut
Beistle produced this witch face diecut with a transparency for the eyes and mouth during the late 1940s. (They used very similar, if not identical, art for a lantern that had an attached base. The base would fit into slots at the bottom of the front. See page 40.) This diecut was never part of a lantern but is a diecut only. It measures ~8.5” high by ~5.75” across. The transparency is intact. There is evidence of an old bit of tape at the top of the reverse. It isn’t visible from the front.
