Lot 43                  1930 Beistle Jack-O-Lantern Fortune Game
Beistle produced this visually impressive game in 1930 after having patented the design in 1927. It stands ~12.5” high by ~9.5” across. The more common variation has a flip-out base. This has a flat front and an easel on the back enabling the game to stand. Because of the size of this game – and that it was a game routinely used – these typically have wear. This is a better-than-normal example with bending most noticeable at the bottom corners and at the top on either side of the stem. The colors are vibrant. The two wheels are securely attached and spin freely.
