Lot 36                  1950s Medium Choir Boy Pulp JOL w/Unusual Light
This pulp choirboy JOL was produced in the United States during the 1950s. It measures ~5.75” high by ~6.5 across. The single-piece insert is original. What makes this JOL unusual is that there is a lid to which a battery enclosure with a small bulb to provide interior illumination is suspended. I haven’t seen this particular set-up before. The interior of the JOL is pristine. I like the two-tone coloration of the JOL along with its Eugene Levy eyebrows.
