Lot 17                  1930s Japanese Identically-Sided JOL Accordion
This identically-sided JOL accordion was produced in Japan during the early 1930s. It measures ~4.25” high by ~4.5” across. The bellows are made from thick pleated cardboard. Although there are three small holes at the top of the bellows, it still produces sound as it is expanded and contracted. The sides consist of lithoed-paper over cardboard. The metal components seem to be tin or pot metal.
