2659                    1960s U.S. Metal Toy Tin Tambourine with Kids and JOL
This tin litho tambourine was produced by U.S. Metal Toy during the early 1960s. It shows five costumed children dancing around a JOL. The rim is decorated with nine different images. The condition is nearly perfect. There isn’t a single dimple on the item - indicating that it was made and immediately stored away. It is the best example of this tambourine that I’ve seen. It measures ~6.25” and has its full complement of six cymbals or clangers.
