2642                    1920s Gibson The Dances Card
Gibson produced this dance card during the 1920s. (Gibson seemed to have dominated the market for dance cards as they produced a number of different designs. This is the first time I’ve seen this particular design with its two cats playing and dancing to music.) Three names were written in pencil and later erased. The scan more clearly shows these than the eye detects. The card may have been affixed to an album page at one time. It measures ~5” high by ~2.5” across, closed.
