26163                 1933 Beistle Fairy Honeycomb Band Hat
Beistle released this fairy band hat with an orange honeycomb interior from 1933-1941. It measures ~4” high by ~11.5” across. The colors are bright and the hat shows little wear. It appears there were some pencil markings on one side between the central JOL and the fairy carrying a parade lantern. They have been erased. I didn’t notice them until I reviewed the scan. There is a vertical bend on the reverse caused by this being a natural point where the interior cardboard joins together enabling the hat to be worn. (These hats nearly always have such a vertical bend.) The orange interior honeycomb is nearly perfect.
