26143                 Unused 1950s Dolly Toy Dual-Sided Slot and Tab JOL Lantern
Dolly Toy of Tipp City, Ohio produced this dual-sided slot and tab JOL lantern during the 1950s. It measures ~6.5” high by ~8” across by ~3.75” deep. The insert on the happy side is perfectly intact. The insert on the unhappy side has a nearly-closed tear to one eye. It appears to be unused in that no candle was ever placed or lit in the interior. There is a small area of surface paper loss to the top interior of one side where  a retail tag was likely removed. All tabs are firm. Colors are strong.
