26102                 1930s Chein Tin Litho Tambourine
Chein produced a set of much-coveted tambourines with their shield mark during the early 1930s. This design, showing a festive party scene with the grossly unhygienic bobbing-for-apples vat, has rich coloration and minimal pebbling to the surface. One clanger is missing but could be easily replaced. The tam measures ~7” in diameter with a nicely decorated rim.
