2610                    Early Beistle Hanging Place Card
Beistle produced an enveloped set of three place cards – all designed to hang off the edge of a glass – for only a few years ending in about 1921. It had been so long since I had seen any one of the three that I had to look at my set shown on page 218 to remind myself of what other designs comprised the set. So, this is the cat place card. It measures ~4.25” high by ~3.25” across. It apparently once belonged to a Jeanne Haviland. (Thanks for preserving it, Jeanne!) There are two pinholes in the bottom white rectangle.
