2605 1932-1941 Beistle Scarecrow Scene Diecut Rare Color Variant
The complete set of twelve to which this diecut belongs was produced by Beistle from 1932 through the early 1950s. Beistle produced each in a silver finish for the first one or two seasons only. These silver-finished variants are difficult to find and have lighter embossing than their more common brethren pressed at the same time. (I don’t know why this is the case.) This diecut shows a scarecrow scene. It measures ~9.25” high by ~8.5” wide. There is light surface wear throughout, common to these variants. There is a bit of tape at the middle of the bottom right by the bird’s beak. It displays quite well, nevertheless.
