25213                1924 Dennison Cat on JOL Place Card
Dennison, not known for their product naming prowess, marketed this charming place card as simply “Pumpkin” when it first appeared in their 1924 Bogie Book. It was given a stock number of H29. What this really shows is a mischievous (and maybe regretful black cat) atop or clinging onto a large JOL. At the bottom is a witch’s hat and broom as if she has gone off somewhere leaving her clambering familiar meowing WTH. The card measures ~3.25” high by ~3.5” across. There is a name penned in old-timey printing.
