25206                1920s German Diecut: 15.25” Snarling Seated Black Cat
This heavily embossed German diecut depicting a snarling seated black cat was produced in Germany during the 1920s and into the 1930s. It measures ~15.25” high by ~7” across. There is some staining to the reverse that doesn’t appear on the front. (Although the staining looks like the diecut was wet at one time, I find no other evidence of this.) There is a 1” closed separation at the bottom just to the right of the opening between the paws. Other than the hanging hole, there are no pinholes. These larger form factor German diecuts have become increasingly difficult to find for sale.
