25196                1920 Beistle Mechanical Invitation
This is the black cat mechanical invitation that Beistle produced beginning perhaps as early 1918, but probably no later than 1920. Beistle produced three designs but quickly did away with the mechanical aspects of these invitations. Going forward, they retained the basic art work as you can see at the bottom of page 220. The mechanical iterations are hard-to-find and typically in poor condition. This example is all-original and in very-fine-plus condition. It measures ~4” high by ~2.75” across, closed.
