Lot 53                Very Large 1960s Eureka Scary Tree Diecut
Eureka produced a small number of Halloween diecuts in the early 1960s. They were produced on thin paper stock, so most are in poor condition when found at all. I’ve noticed that prices for Eureka diecuts have increased sharply over the last five years. This is a very large diecut of a scary tree with black cat, perched owl and an apprehensive JOL, unsettled no doubt by the dangling spider. (There is a lot going on in this diecut!) It measures ~16” high by ~13.25” across. It is in near-mint or better condition, almost unheard of for a Eureka design. Even the hanging hole chad is unpunched.
